Com­mu­nity Services

As a part of The Sal­va­tion Army, York­min­ster Citadel is a link to many Sal­va­tion Army ser­vices. Those in need of on-going assis­tance are helped by The Sal­va­tion Army’s cen­tral Fam­ily Ser­vices office.

The church office keeps petty cash and a small amount of food on hand for emergencies.

Ser­vices for New Canadians

Dur­ing the week the Toronto Dis­trict School Board oper­ates ‘Eng­lish as a sec­ond lan­guage’ (ESL) courses at the church.

The Sal­va­tion Army’s Immi­grant and Refugee Ser­vices also has an office at York­min­ster, which is open one day a week (Thursday).
